Nice and Serious is proud to announce that we have calculated the Carbon Footprint for our first year of operations. By using the Carbon Trust's carbon calculator, we were able to calculate our carbon emissions for the period May 2009 to May 2010. The results showed that we were responsible for emitting a total of 2.94 tonnes of carbon, 1.14 of which was indirectly from electricity use in our office and 1.8 of which was from transport. 2.94 tonnes is exceptionally low for a business, even a newly established one like ours, which suggests that our efforts to reduce our environmental impact are paying off! Hip-Hip Hooray! But it doesn't finish here, we will continue to record and strive to reduce our carbon footprint as Nice and Serious develops over the coming years. Watch this green space!
