Plymouth Marine Laboratory - "Ocean Acidification"
The BriefThe Natural Environment Research Council and Plymouth Marine Laboratory wanted a film to communicate the importance of effective communication between scientists, policy makers and the public in relation to Ocean Acidification. The FilmNice and Serious, in collaboration with Plymouth Marine Laboratory and Futerra, produced an informative and engaging documentary film. The film is presented by Kelvin Boot (science communicator and presenter of Saving Species on BBC Radio 4) and features interviews from key figures such as DEFRA (UK Government) Chief Scientific Advisor, Professor Robert Watson FRS, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and Dr Carol Turley OBE. The film informs the viewer that everyone can take responsibility for the issues. |
