Department of Energy and Climate Change - Low Carbon Communities Challenge

The Brief

The Department for Energy and Climate Change wanted a film to use at the Low Carbon Communities Challenge (LCCC) launch event. The film needed to capture the spirit and humanity of the communities, researchers and politicians involved, as well as demonstrating a shared sense of responsibility.

The Film

Using the new Canon 5D MKII, the film was shot and edited in a natural style to capture the passion and sincerity of the contributors. Each interviewee was asked the same question, which is only later revealed at the end of the film, giving the viewer a chance to reflect on the commonality of the responses.
